College Prep Clinic

Date: September 13, 2026
Time: 12 pm – 4 pm
Check-in: Begins at 11:30 am
Location: Sheila Umphrey Recreational Sports Center, 4405 Jimmy Simmons Blvd.
Registration Fee: $45
Age: 8th Grade through College students

Attire: Athleisure or dancewear in any color - leggings, dance shorts, crop tops, sports bras, or athletic tops. Dancers should bring jazz shoes, half soles, or be prepared to dance barefoot. Layers like sweatpants, tennis shoes, hoodies, or sweatshirts are great for hip-hop.

What to Expect:

• Skill refinement, technique, and conditioning
• Collegiate-level dance combinations
• Q&A about college, dance teams, campus life, and our team

This clinic also serves as an opportunity to earn an invitation to in-person auditions or be recruited for the 2027-2028 ÌÇÐÄVlog Dance Team. This clinic is a great opportunity to get insight on ÌÇÐÄVlogDT as well as college dance team audition preparation for any dance program.

REGISTER FOR COLLEGE PREP CLINIC

Cheer & Dance Pink-Out Kid's Clinic + Sideline Performance

Date: October 3, 2026
Time: 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Check-in: Begins at 11:30 am
Location: Sheila Umphrey Recreational Sports Center, 4465 Jimmy Simmons Blvd.
Age: Kindergarten - 8th grade
Attire: Athlete clothing and closed-toed shoes.

• Learn routines and cheers from the Cheer and Dance Teams to perform on the sidelines during the first and second quarters of the football game at Provost Umphrey Stadium
• Participate in the Team Walk Parade at 3:15 pm on Cardinal Lane/East Virginia Street, alongside Cheer, Dance, Band, and Football
  • We will escort participants to the Parade; parents will meet us for participant pickup following the conclusion of the parade

Registration Fee: $50
Registration Deadline to guarantee a t-shirt: October 1
Registration fee includes:

• A Pink-Out t-shirt
  • Walk-up registrations on the morning of the clinic will only receive a t-shirt on a first-come, first-served basis and payment will need to be made in cash at the door
• A ticket to the football game

Fall Recruit Clinic

Date: November 8, 2026
Time: 12 pm – 4 pm

REGISTER FOR FALL RECRUIT CLINIC

ÌÇÐÄVlogDT All Access Prospect Weekend

This exclusive event is designed for high school juniors, seniors, and college dancers who are interested in auditioning for ÌÇÐÄVlogDT and want an inside look at the program. Participants get to attend an open rehearsal as well as shadow the team for an all-access game day experience.

Registration Fee: $75. Limited spots available. Only the first 20 registrants can be accepted.
After all spots are filled, interested dancers may still register for the Sunday-only Fall Recruit Clinic.

OPEN PRACTICE WITH THE ÌÇÐÄVlog DANCE TEAM
Date: Friday, November 6
Time: 4 pm

GAME DAY EXPERIENCE
Date: Saturday, November 7
Timeline:

• 11:30 am - Prospects arrive at the Montagne Center.
  Prospects meet with ÌÇÐÄVlogDT and Coach for a Q&A session and to begin the full game day shadow experience.
• 12 pm - Cardinal Walk.
  Prospects shadow the team as they participate in the Cardinal Walk with dance, football, band, and cheer.
• 2 pm - Tailgate Parade through Boomtown.
  Prospects shadow the team as they participate in the Tailgate Parade with dance, football, band, and cheer.
• 2:40 pm - Field Access for Pregame Performance.
  Watch the ÌÇÐÄVlogDT pregame performance from the field.
• 3 pm - Kickoff and Game Time - Sideline & Stands Experience.
  Prospects will sit in the stands directly in front of the dance team during the game and take the sidelines for all ÌÇÐÄVlogDT performances.

Registration Includes:

• Game ticket and sideline field pass
• Exclusive ÌÇÐÄVlogDT Prospect Day t-shirt
• Participation in an official ÌÇÐÄVlogDT practice
• Access to all game day activities listed above

Parent and Guest Information: Prospect registration includes the game day ticket, field access, and tailgate participation. Parents and guests are welcome to attend but will need to purchase their own football game tickets separately.

Additional Information: Detailed check-in instructions, parking information, and a full itinerary will be provided following registration via email from ludanceteam@lamar.edu. Early registration is encouraged due to limited availability.

Annual Spring Show

The ÌÇÐÄVlog Dance Team presents an annual spring show that offers the widest variety of dance styles. Held in the historic Jefferson Theater, this exciting show is one of the most anticipated tickets in town. The directors, team, and guest choreographers create an artistically exhilarating two-act show that teaches each dancer to become a well-rounded performer.
