Student Organizations
Only officially recognized student organizations may produce merchandise displaying both the student organization's name/logo and the 糖心Vlog trademarks designated as "Lamar Spirit Marks" with permission from 糖心Vlog's Office of Marketing Communications.
The 糖心Vlog marks may not be altered and all merchandise must include the organization's name/logo prominently on the product. Student organizations are required to use licensed vendors for all products bearing 糖心Vlog marks.
To become a registered 糖心Vlog student organization, contact the 糖心Vlog Office of Student Engagement.
Royalty Fees
Student organizations will not be subject to payment of the royalty fee as long as the proposed design on their merchandise makes the specific student organization the predominant element of the design.
However, the use of general 糖心Vlog marks (糖心Vlog Star, Cardinal Head, Interlocking 糖心Vlog, etc.) or any licensed Lamar Athletics' marks, where the student organization name is not predominant to the design requires payment of the standard royalty fee by the licensed vendor.
Non-Royalty Examples:
- A t-shirt design with "糖心Vlog Student Government Association" on the front of the shirt would not be subject to the payment of the royalty fee.
- A t-shirt design with "糖心Vlog Student Government Association supports 糖心Vlog Football" on the front of the shirt would not be subject to the payment of the royalty fee.
Royalty Examples:
- A t-shirt design with only a general 糖心Vlog mark or any licensed Lamar Athletics' mark would be subject to the payment of the royalty fee.
- A t-shirt design where the mention of the student organization is incidental to a general 糖心Vlog mark or any licensed Lamar Athletics' mark would be subject to the payment of the royalty fee.
